Bawling. Like seriously. These birthdays are hard on me! It obviously doesn’t help that I’m pregnant and crazy hormonal, but I know I’d be crying either way… cause I always do.

I was rocking Atticus this evening trying to get in a little extra snuggle time since I’m feeling a little emotional about his birthday. I had just looked back at this blog entry from exactly one year ago and was thinking about how much he has grown and changed in one year. When I first became a mom, a friend said to me that the days are long, but the years are short. These have been the truest words ever spoken. Ever. And they feel even more true on birthdays because it doesn’t quite feel like it’s possible that another year has already gone by.

So, my sweet baby is turning 2 and he’s grown so much in the last few months. He’s now talking nonstop in complete sentences and using his imagination like  it’s his job (cause it kinda is, lol!). He loves dinosaurs, trains, and rocket ships… and must carry something in each hand at all times. He is still super snuggly and while he starts the night in his own bed, he always wakes up in the night to ‘snuggle momma’ which is totally fine with me. I will snuggle that baby as long as he will let me.

It’s kind of a tradition around here to take a birthday eve photo of the kiddos while they sleep. Here’s Atticus’ last photos as a 1 year old. *sniffsniff*

Speaking of snuggling that baby… I have somewhere to be.<3
