The last photo of my Logan as a 6 year old. Of course he is sleeping face down… but that’s okay because that’s how he sleeps. I’m actually surprised that his head was above the covers at all! He’s usually snuggled down pretty good, especially in the wintertime.

This year Logan’s birthday fell on a Sunday, so Chris was home! We spent the day as a family. That morning, Logan opened presents, had his special birthday breakfast, and played with his birthday present. Then we headed out to run some errands and let him pick where he wanted to eat for his birthday dinner. He wanted a steak from Texas Roadhouse!

That evening, we came home and had homemade pizookies, which is basically a fresh out of the oven cookie with a scoop of ice cream on top. Yum!

In March we were finally able to celebrate with Logan’s friends. It was a crazy start to the year with the party having to get rescheduled several times for various reasons. We had a slumber party complete with pizza and an ice cream sundae bar.

The next morning, we loaded all the kids up and took them to Pinstack for some games and bowling. The boys really liked laser tag and the bumper cars!
