Logan turned 8 months old this week!  Where has this year gone?!  I feel like he is going to be a year old before we know it.  He is also going to be walking before we know it (which is NOT something that I am necessarily looking forward to)!  He really started cruising this week:

And when I say that I’m not excited about him walking, I don’t REALLY mean it.  I mean, I’m so happy that he is developing and growing into a strong, bright little guy… I’m just lazy and not excited about the extra effort I will have to put forth to keep him safe.  I’m already all over the place trying to keep him out of harms way, and he’s only crawling.  I can only imagine the shenanigans he’s going to get in to once he is bipedal.

So, other than cruising like a champ, our guy is also still working on those front teeth.  And man, this teething business has completely messed up our sleep schedule and everything.  Here they are:

You can definitely see the front right (his right) and the one to the right (again, his right)of it.  You can barely see the front left one… and in this picture you can’t really see it, but the one to the left of his front left is actually trying to come in, too.  You can’t see the tooth yet, but the tissue is swollen.  So, I don’t blame the little guy for being off his game this week.  Cutting 4 teeth all at one time is tough business!

In other news, we learned how to fake cough this week.  It’s like he just discovered that he can cough, so he does it all the time.  Megan and I attempted to get him on video doing this, but instead, when we would model coughing, he would laugh at us:

I love that video.  His belly laughs make me smile.  I swear I could be in the worst mood in the world, and his little laugh could completely turn it around.  I’m in trouble when he gets old enough to use his cuteness to manipulate me.

We had lots of fun with our friends this week, too!  Logan and I had a lunch date with Miss Ashley and Miss Vivi.  It was great to see them!  On Wednesday we went to the dairy farm with Megan and Oliver (individual post coming soon!).  After the farm we had a picnic on the square in Denton.  On Friday night, Aunt Amy and Uncle Derek came over and we all watched a movie.  It was a fun and eventful week!
