Ah, Halloween. One of our favorite holidays! Chris and I have always enjoyed getting dressed up for Halloween, but the past few years, we haven’t had the time to focus on our own costumes. I wonder why, haha. When I’m blogging about a holiday, I always like to look back at previous years. If you’re interested in seeing how these boys have grown so much in just a few years, you can take a peek too! Here’s last year when the boys were a monkey and a puppy. And then there was 2013 when Atticus was just 10 days old and Logan was a dinosaur. That was the year that Aunt Julie and Aunt Hima saved the day by sending Logan a costume because someone forgot to get one. Whoops!! Thank goodness for best friends who take care of you when you’re a little preoccupied with a newborn. And then, our very first Halloween with a kiddo in tow: Logan was a TinyPirate! Thanks pregnancy hormones, now I’m crying.

Speaking of pregnancy…

Baby Belvin (or Baby Jon Snow, depending on who you ask) went as a pumpkin.

Also, my butt decided to dress up as a pregnant belly. Hooray for that stage of pregnancy when your butt looks just as pregnant as your front!

This year, Nana and Pop Pop came over and we all went trick or treating around our neighborhood. Logan dressed up as Super Logan– he received a super sweet cape customized with the letter L at a birthday party a few weeks ago (thanks, Miranda!) and he’s been in love with it. So we decided to create a costume around that cape.

Atti’s favorite show right now is Dinosaur Train and he’s pretty much obsessed with everything dinosaur related… so we repurposed Logan’s old costume (thanks again, Julie and Hima!) and built him a train.

Trying to get a decent photo of these turkeys together proved difficult… but what’s new?

Peek-a-boo.

Logan tried to claim the train for himself. “But MOOOOMMMMM super heroes need super trains! NOT DINOSAURS!!!” Maybe next year, dude.

The train was a big hit. Chris did such a great job!
