Our full last day in New York, we decided to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. It was a neat experience!
On the walk to the train we came across a group of street performers. Logan and Atticus were in awe of the Michael Jackson impersonator.
We went to the Museum of Natural History. It was pretty amazing, but we totally didn’t give ourselves enough time to see all of it. It’s massive!
This skeleton looked like something out of the video game Doom 2!
After the museum, we took a short walk through Central Park again.
The following day we spent the morning packing up our stuff and then headed to the airport to fly home. Our week in New York was so much fun! We are so glad that we were able to visit before Lauren moved back to Texas. It’s funny, actually… we had been talking about going to visit the entire 5 years that Lauren lived there– we just never were able to either because of money or time. It was like the universe was pushing us to take this opportunity before it disappeared. And while it was a whirlwind trip and even overwhelming at times, it was so totally worth it!
