This year was Logan’s first Thanksgiving. I love this holiday… it is one of my favorites. And I knew that our TinyGuy would love it too seeing as how be loves to eat as much as his Momma and Dada.

We started the day at Nana and Pop Pop’s house for a Thanksgiving lunch. Chris and I just invested in a new camera and lens…. so we took lots of photos to help us learn the new equipment. Here are our favorites:

After our fabulous meal and impromptu photo session with Logan in the backyard, we headed over to my Dad and Valerie’s house for another meal. When we first arrived, Gramps had a surprise for Logan. Apparently the duck and goose population at the pond across the street from my Dad’s house is exploding. There is a flock of tame geese that we got to feed. This first goose in the photos is deformed. He picked up a live firecracker that subsequently blew up in his mouth. His little beak is all jacked up now. He still gets around, though. And his deformity made him the perfect goose for Logan to feed. It was impossible for him to pinch! Oh, and I nicknamed him Beaker.

Since the weather was so nice, we ended the evening hanging out in Dad’s backyard. We started a fire in the fire pit and sat around and spent time together. It was a great end to a great day!
