Our baby is officially 8 weeks old. We have a 2 month old. Geez. Never thought I’d say that. it has seriously been the absolute best 2 months of my life. I’m sure Chris agrees. It’s neat to look back at all the pictures we have taken of him in his 8 week existence and see how much he has changed already. This week he discovered his hands and can’t keep them out of his mouth. You would think there is a nipple on his little fist the way he sucks on it! He is also getting much more interactive… he played a game of peek-a-boo with his Nana yesterday. He would laugh and smile every time she’d uncover her face and say “pee-paw” in a high pitched voice. Quite possibly the cutest thing EVER.

Here are some photos from the week…

Sunday morning snuggles with Daddy.

Last Sunday (2/12) was Darwin Day. We celebrated with Aunt Amy and Uncle Derek at Babe’s Chicken. Aunt Amy and Logan were showing off their Darwin Day shirts. A high school aged girl working the cash register at Babe’s thought that the dude on Amy’s shirt was Dumbledore. Kids these days…

Close up of the Logan’s Darwin Day onesie I made him. It’s Darwin’s tree of life. We’ve decided that Logan is going to be a science nerd like his Aunt Amy.

We worked on sleeping a lot this week. Apparently it wore this little guy out. He passed out on the couch for his first nap of the day.

Our TinyFat guy got a present in the mail from his Aunt Kecia this week. Coolest onesie EVER!!!

We tried out our Bumbo seat this week, too. He is still a little too young for it, but I had to snap a few pictures because he looked so darn cute.

Like I said earlier, we worked on teaching FatBaby to sleep without his swing and bouncy seat this week. This picture sums up the majority of our week. Little guy would get SO tired that he would fight sleep.
