This was our last week with Sarah. She starts back to school next week, so we aren’t needed anymore. We truly enjoyed getting to spend time with her and reconnect, but honestly, I’m so glad it’s over. It was tough being gone from our house 12 hours a day with Logan. The hardest part was the drive home in the afternoons. Because of horrible traffic, it was taking us about an hour (sometimes more!) to get home every day. Logan would sleep for the first part of the ride home, but right about the time we hit I-35, he would wake up and cry. Plus, since we were getting home so late everyday, our evening routine was rushed and by the time TinyGuy was down for the night (at 8:30), I was too wiped to do laundry or clean house. So, note to self… babysitting out of the house is not a good choice! 🙂
In the milestone department, Logan’s eating has continued to take off this week. I posted several videos of him eating. I couldn’t wait until Friday to post them. He enjoyed spaghetti and steak… among other things. It’s like it finally clicked for him. He has also been enjoying different types of fruit that I cut up into manageable pieces. I think what is helping is that his pincer grasp has finally gotten good enough that he can pick food up and put it in his mouth. Before, when he was palming everything, he would get frustrated when he could get the food in his mouth. In gross motor development news… our guy can climb up stairs!

I have never been so happy to live in a house that DOES NOT have stairs! That little booger thinks he is invincible. My favorite part of that video is him clapping for himself after he climbed up. So stinkin’ cute!
I went a little video crazy this week. In this next one, Logan was scared of a silly noise I was making. He makes the saddest face I’ve ever seen. If that face becomes a regular addition to his repertoire, he will be able to get me to do whatever his little heart desires. Seriously, I can’t handle it.
