4 more weeks!! You would think that it would be getting easier as the time winds down, but I’ve really been struggling lately. I have to keep reminding myself that I only have 4 more weeks. I think it’s been more difficult because Logan is developing so fast and it seems like he does the cool stuff during the day when he’s with Lauren and Pop Pop. Sure I get a video of it later, but it’s just not the same.

This week he’s really made progress in the hand department. He’s been reaching for things and grabbing at things for a while now, but I guess his depth perception was still not very good because he could never really get what he grabbed at. Now, he will reach out and grab you. He’ll get your nose, your cheeks, or your hair…and let me tell you, it hurts. The other day he lodged both hands in my long hair and I didn’t think he was ever going to get untangled. He also gave his first purple nurple this week. I was nursing him one evening and he reached over and grabbed the nipple he was not sucking on. Chris had to help me get him off. I seriously thought he was going to turn me into the one-nippled wonder! He is also biting everything. This is probably because of the teeth that he’s still working on, but he’s not just biting toys anymore. He does this thing when you’re holding him… goes for the shoulder or the neck. Like he’s a mini vampire or something. Hurts like the dickens. He’s a violent one. We’ve also been working on sitting up. He can sit up unassisted for a couple of minutes before falling over. *See Jazz Fest pictures below* TinyFat is also becoming more mobile. He has started scooting himself around backwards using his arms. It’s so crazy to put him down in one place, walk away to work on dinner or change over laundry, and come back to find him across the room. It’s cool that he’s meeting all of his milestones early, but I’m seriously needing him to slow down!!

Logan’s week was a very busy one. Last weekend we had a garage sale on Saturday. Unfortunately, Daddy had to work so he didn’t get to help out. But this Momma called Nana to come save the day. For some strange reason I thought I was going to be able to do my business at the garage sale and take care of the TinyFat. Yeah, not possible when you get bumrushed at 7:30 am when you are still setting things up. I had people walking around in my garage looking at my stuff because I didn’t have it out yet. Made me very uncomfortable. Oh, and someone stole a purse from me. I had the purses laying out in the yard with the clothes and shoes. One of them went missing during the day. Not sure when. I didn’t even notice it was gone until the end of the day. Jerks. After Nana left, Aunt Amy and Mr. Derek came over to visit. We had a garage picnic and Logan got to play with Mr. Derek:

On Sunday we went to the Denton Arts and Jazz Fest. We saw Miss Polly sing and walked around a bit to look at the different booths. We had fun hanging out with our friends!

The rest of the week was pretty uneventful, though we did get several videos. They aren’t too terribly entertaining, but I know I will enjoy looking back at them when he gets a little older. I’m pretty sure this blog was the best idea I have ever had. And not just so family and friends can keep up with us, but so we can record all of our memories in one place. I might just be a genius.
