Tuesday was a beach day with friends! We had so much fun swimming in the ocean and building sandcastles.
The big boys worked hard on digging a huge hole… all the way to China!
Chris worked on a sandcastle, too!
Miranda brought Sleeping Queens, so we taught our friends how to play!
Then we headed over to Miranda’s condo to take a swim. The boys are (thankfully!) getting used to being in the water and Atticus has decided that he can swim again .He wasn’t so sure a couple weeks ago when we went swimming for the first time this year.
Even Lorelei is getting more comfortable around the water.
That evening we went to dinner with friends at a local place called The Hangout. The food was decent and the entertainment was obnoxious. Table dancing was required, haha.
And then it was our turn….
Doing The Wobble on a table is hard (especially when you don’t know how to dance, like meeeee!) We opted for a slow dance instead.
We finished up the day with a visit to the Gulf State Park Pier. It was so cool!
We saw lots of sharks swimming in the water.
And even had an up close encounter with a pelican!
The pelican hung out with us for a few minutes then waddled over to a fisherman and stole a bait fish. 
What a perfect day!
