On day 3 we had a lazy morning in the trailer that included playing with stickers and legos…
A little rough housing…
And feeling completely overwhelmed with picking outfits for our friend date!
After lazing around all morning, we loaded up and headed into Florida to meet up with friends at the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola. This museum was fun AND free! The kids really enjoyed getting to sit in the cock pits of different jets and pretend to fly.
We were super excited about seeing an actual moon rock!
See Nixon in the window of this presidential helicopter? Atticus kept calling him an “Old Grandpa” and it made me giggle pretty hard.
Yay for sweet friends! (Atticus was hiding behind the tree, but he was extra squirrely today!)
After the museum, we headed to The Oar House to grab dinner with Aaron and Ashley. This restaurant was great! There was a huge outdoor area to entertain the kiddos while we got a chance to visit.
We said our goodbyes and then headed back to the trailer. After a short movie and popcorn break in Atti’s hidey hole movie theater (that’s what he calls it), we headed to the beach to crab hunt.
We caught a few little crabs. These crabs weren’t as pinchy as ones we’ve caught in Galveston, so the kids got a chance to handle them before we let them go.
Even Lorelei picked one up!
I just can’t…. <3 <3 <3
Such a fun day filled with so many people we love!
