It’s that time of year here in Texas when the sides of the road are covered in giant patches of blue. Families line up to take pictures in the many Bluebonnet hot spots around town. We were one of those families this past Friday evening. Chris and I loaded up the car with some blankets, the Boppy pillow, TinyFat, and our friends Mrs. Ashley and Miss Vivi. We had never done any Bluebonnet pictures, so we weren’t sure what to expect. There were cars lined up along the little road next to the field. Girls were in spring dresses and little boys in their Easter best. And of course, Bluebonnets were everywhere. We had a lot of fun. It was our first experience trying to get photos of an almost 2 year old who does not want to sit still. We were definitely pooped afterwards!

Miss Vivi is so pretty!

She looks like she is up to something in this one.

Pretty girl!

Excuse me, sir, why are you photographing me?

Her eyes are so blue!

Logan and Vivi. They don’t know it yet, but they are BFFs. And trying to get a good picture of an almost 2 year old with a 3 month old is damn near impossible. This was the best of the bunch… and it’s not even that great.

Baby La. That’s what Vivi calls my TinyFat because Logan is too hard for her to say. Love it.

I love him. So much.
Logan looks so much like Chris in the last photo! Each time I see a photo of him, he reminds me of you and then the next… Chris!
Yeah, and every now and then I will see one of the Lauren’s or Ted in his little face. It’s crazy!
