*This is Lauren’s (my sister) nickname. It is from something I used to call her when we were kids. It is pronounced like Poochie.*
.
Anyway, back in May, Logan and I went with Dad and Valerie to Arkansas to watch Lauren graduate from college. (Chris was unable to go because of work.) It was our TinyFat’s first out of state trip. We left Friday evening after everyone got off work. I took lots of pictures…
..
Logan sticking his tongue out at the Momma. Such a sassy baby!
.
We stopped along the way and ate dinner. Logan ate Gramps’ hand.
.
Sleeping in the car. Such a sweet guy.
.
Playing in our hotel. Lauren, Logan, and I shared a room and Dad and Valerie were right next door. Chris thinks Logan looks like Elmer Fudd here. He was showing his Gramps that his hat is now too small for his giant head!
.
Spending some time with Gramps before bed.
.
So, I brought the pack ‘n play along, but decided that I felt better if he slept in bed with me and Lauren. I’m such a paranoid freak… I had these visions of someone breaking into the room and stealing him. I figured that if I cocooned him in practically underneath me, no one would be able to see him, much less steal him!
.
In the morning, Logan played in his pack n play while the Momma got ready. He thought it was fun to press his face against the side.
.
At graduation playing with Gramps.
.
Graduation was so boring that Logan fell asleep. 🙂
.
We caught a brief glimpse of Lauren as she walked by in the processional.
.
“What are you looking at?”
.
Graduation was held outside in front of some really old buildings. It was really pretty!
.
I was really worried that we would be the family with the screaming baby during the ceremony, but he was such a good baby!
.
So, I brought my sling and wore him once the ceremony was over and we were taking pictures. You should have seen the looks that I got. I’m pretty sure that I was the first babywearing Momma in the state of Arkansas.
.
As the recessional was going on, I ran to find Lauren… in a dress, with a baby strapped to my front (sleeping no less) and my camera in hand. I saw her from behind and yelled her name. I snapped the picture right as she turned. I like how it turned out.
.
Our little sister Baillie got her a vintage theatre book for her graduation present. Lauren LOVED it!
.
Dad and Valerie got her a diamond drop necklace like the one they got me for my wedding.
.
She was so excited to have a beautiful necklace from her Daddy and Valerie.
.
So proud!
.
Again… so proud!
.
So happy to finally be done!
.
LOVE this present from Valerie. It’s very fitting considering Lauren’s plan of going to New York!

.
This guy had a great trip, but he was so worn out!
.
When we got back to town, we stopped at Dad and Valerie’s for a while so we could get out of the car and stretch our legs.
.
What a fun weekend with our Gramps and Gram!!

YAY LAUREN!!!!!!!!!!
