Our TinyFat turned 3 months old on Friday, which also happened to be his Gramps’ birthday. Unfortunately, I didn’t take many pictures during week 13. Logan was pretty crabby most of the week and his sleeping through the night was replaced by waking every 1.5-2 hours AGAIN. Needless to say, the beginning of our week was very sad and went mostly like this:

After a visit to the doctor and reading through The Baby Book (Dr. Sears) we have come to the conclusion that he might be teething. Or at least he sure is showing most of the signs. Our super crunchy doctor recommended getting an amber teething necklace, so we headed up to our favorite cloth diaper store on Tuesday to get one. Being as anti-medication as I tend to be, I would much rather give the amber a shot than pump him full of meds. Actually, with the exception of gripe water and mylicon, and his vitamins and probiotics, TinyFat has never had any meds in his short little life. I’m kind of proud of that! Plus, he looks really cute in his necklace as seen in this video. Chris thought the necklace made him look like Matthew McConaughey. That joke quickly led in to another about using his necklace to bring back the dinosaurs… Chris has watched Jurassic Park too many times!

We also had another mommy and me yoga class this week with our Crunchy Mama’s group. It was just as fun the second time around as it was the first time. Maybe even more since I had already met most of the girls. I snapped a couple of pictures after yoga class was over. We laid our blankets in the middle of the room and let the kiddos “play” with each other.

Logan’s older woman… she’s twice his age!! This picture also makes it look like there isn’t a hair on his little cueball head.

The rest of the pictures I have for the week are of pretty much nothing exciting. We have a picture snapped during morning snuggle time:

And another one snapped when he FINALLY took a nap during a particularly grumpy day.

Another snuggle time picture. We did a lot of snuggling during this week. It’s super sad when you can tell that there’s something wrong with your baby, yet you can’t figure out exactly what it is. So, we just did some extra snuggling to try to make it better.

By the end of the week, TinyFat was on his way to feeling and acting better. He’s still showing some of the signs of teething, but he’s able to sleep better and he isn’t as cranky. So, who knows what is going on. I’d like to think that he’s not teething yet. We are still breastfeeding and I’m not in the mood to have to deal with teeth!
