It’s so hard to believe that a year ago right this moment I was getting ready to go to sleep feeling so discouraged… thinking that I was never going to meet sweet Atticus. I had been having prodromal labor for so many weeks that it felt like some kind of sick joke. Little did I know, on that night exactly a year ago, I’d wake up in the middle of the night with real contractions (at the time, I was convinced they were also prodromal), and then get to meet my sweet boy a few hours later.
This year of getting to know my kind, loving, sweet, smart little guy has been an absolute blast. I’m so excited to see his personality develop and watch him learn new things everyday.
