Our little family had quite a productive week. I’m getting better at posting on this thing and I find that the more I post, the easier it is getting. I’m also getting better about taking more pictures with my 7D, rather than my iPhone. BUT I decided that these “Life with a Baby” posts will contain my favorite shots from my iPhone from the week. It’s always with me and therefore is probably a more accurate account of the randomness that we encounter. I will save the 7D shots for the other posts.
Anyway, Mr. Logan is getting quite the little personality. He is learning how to fake cry (vs. real cry) to get Mommy’s attention. We have had several more giggles and lots of smiles. There is nothing better than getting in his face, his eyes focusing on mine, and then getting a huge toothless grin. I live for those moments. This boy already has me wrapped around his chubby little fingers.
We went to visit Grandma this week and made the trek to Keller to visit everyone at school. We went on our first shopping excursion alone and only cried once because someone didn’t like having his diaper changed in the car. We started with lunch with Daddy and then went to Hobby Lobby, Target, Market Street, and Walgreen’s. Quite the feat for our first time–and none of it would have been possible if we didn’t have a MobyWrap!
It only took me 6 weeks, but I finally got the Birth Story finished and uploaded, complete with graphic pictures. It’s a long read, but I wanted to make sure I didn’t leave anything out. I think I might have it printed into a book… like the ones you can make on Shutterfly. I’m pretty proud of myself for actually getting it done.

Sarge dug through Logan’s dirty clothes and got himself a spit up covered blanket to lay on. We call this making a “Pit Nest”. If you leave anything laying around, Sarge will make himself a nest and take a nap.
