What a crazy month it has been! Julie came for a visit and was here for 3 weeks. We had so much fun!! She lives in North Carolina now so she doesn’t get to visit often. If you remember, she got married a few months ago and we made the long grueling trip up there.  I guess she missed me so much, she had to come back to visit. It’s been the most time we have spent together since she moved away 5 years ago. And I’m pretty sure that I had nothing to do with her decision to come back and visit. It was more than likely this guy:

So, over the past 3 weeks, Logan has started doing lots of different things. His walking has turned into a fast *almost* run, he does pull ups on the stove (so scary), he waves, dances, signs milk, and drives around his little cars and makes car noises. That’s one that he picked up from the little guy that we babysit. He has also started throwing some major temper tantrums. It’s actually quite funny. He is so opinionated and hard headed. Sometimes when he doesn’t get what he wants or I have to take something from him, he will throw himself down on the ground, roll around, scream, and kick his little feet. I’m so excited for the terrible 2’s…

Here are some videos of his new milestones that I have happened to catch:

After Julie left, we had our first trip to Going Bonkers with our friends Megan and Oliver. Logan loved that place! I took a couple of videos while we were there:

We also got to meet Santa! We were at the mall killing time before our Going Bonkers date and we decided to see if Logan would even go near the big guy in red. This was about as close as we could get:

Logan was more interested in the deer display that was to the side of Santa’s workshop. At one point, Santa got down on his knee and called for Logan and our Logue turned and ran as fast as he could! Bummer. We are going to try a couple more times. I would like to get a photo of Logan sitting on Santa’s knee, but I’m not going to force it.

A few other big things have happened in our lives over the past few weeks. Our friends Derek and Amy had their baby!! We were able to go to the hospital to welcome Henry Paul:

I randomly decided to chop off my hair. They cut off about 8 inches and I was able to donate it! It feels so much better to not be carrying around all that hair. And it’s so much easier to take care of!

That’s about it. I feel like I have been behind on the blog for so long, I’m not sure if I will ever get back to the point where I am writing weekly. I am going to try… but no promises! Our little guy keeps me pretty busy! 🙂
