What a busy week! We spent the majority of it getting ready for our trip to North Carolina. This trip was pretty last minute… my BFF since 2nd grade decided to push her wedding up a whole year but I absolutely wasn’t going to miss it for anything. So, we had a few weeks to prepare for a cross county trip with an 8 month old. Yikes!
We did have time to go to the farm, though. Megan created a drive share program where we all take turns going and it was our turn. This time I got a quart of cream and used it to make butter. I always thought that making butter would be difficult, that I would need a butter churn or something. Luckily, a KitchenAid mixer works, too. Plus, it didn’t take as long as I thought it would. I was expecting a couple of hours… but it was seriously like 10 minutes!

While Megan and I were making butter, our little guy was making mischief, as usual. He has decided that he likes climbing up on things now, like he’s a monkey or something.

Lastly, we have a video of Logan practicing his walking. He’s doing so well. He will be doing it by himself in no time!
