Christmas Eve was a sleepless night. Logan woke up at 2am and sneaked out of our room to see if Santa had come. Santa had already been to our house, and he of course got super excited and wanted to open presents. I was not about to wake everyone up (at 2am!!) because I knew that we had a long day ahead of us so everyone needed their sleep. He was super sad about it– and laid next to me crying until nearly 3:30. Poor buddy!
Atticus woke a few hours later at 7:30 and proceeded to wake everyone up. Before the kiddos can go into the living room to check out their presents, we have them go into the kitchen to see if Santa ate their cookies and to read the letter that Santa writes to them.
Santa came and brought the gifts that the kids asked for– Logan asked for the Lego Star Wars video game, Atticus asked for a remote controlled Batbot and Lorelei asked for a stroller for her baby dolls.
After we finished Christmas at our house, we got ready and headed over to Gramps and Grams house. We did our celebration thing over there– ate a really yummy lunch, opened presents and hung out for a bit.
